Jesus Still Heals the Sick

“But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness {seek Him and live completely and always according to His will, above ALL else, priority number one, before anything else} and all these things shall be added unto you”.
–
Matthew 6:33 power phrased

In all we do, we must continuously and always seek the Kingdom of God and God’s righteousness FIRST, it must always be our number one priority. The word of God declares that then all things will be added on to you, however if you are indeed continuously and always seeking God’s kingdom and God’s righteousness first, you will never be focussed on things but you are always focussed on God. The enemy will try and distort your focus, and will have you focus on your problem, your sickness, so guard your focus and remember that Jesus still heals the sick.

When our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ preached he healed the sick everywhere and he commanded his followers to do the same. The Lord certainly does miracles of healing, however the greatest miracle of all is salvation! the free gift of eternal life through repentance of sin and surrendering to Jesus Christ to spend eternity in a glorified body where there is no death, no sickness and no sorrow.

The Lord knows your need before it becomes your need, deliverance (salvation) comes by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and giving our life to Him. In my ministry of conducting many deliverances, I have seen that many ailments and pains are caused by the devil, and I would advice anybody to ask the Lord to search your heart for any unforgiveness or unconfessed sin in your life, break curses see more about that on the dedicated page.

Faith, however is always taken too lightly

Jesus teaches us ‘if we only had faith the size of a mustard seed {the smallest seed in that period in that area} Matthew 17: 17-19 reads: “Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him; and the child was CURED from that very hour: Then came the disciples to Jesus apart; and said, Why could not we cast him out?”

“And Jesus answered unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; AND NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE UNTO YOU.” – Matthew 17: 20

In Luke 17:6 the Lord answered, “If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.”

Faith is truly believing without reasoning in your mind, hence Jesus teaches us to have ‘childlike faith’ trusting God completely. Surrendering your life to Jesus Christ, giving your life to Jesus Christ also means trusting the Lord completely for everything. Luke 8:48 emphasises faith for healing; “Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole, go in peace.”

Hebrews 11: 5-6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him”.

God’s divine touch upon a broken body or mind is not merely a New Testament phenomenon from the days of the apostles and the Early Church . His ability to perform the miraculous is not and never has been restricted to a certain time frame in church history. God is no respecter of persons, for Hebrews 13:8 declares: “Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and forever.”

He healed the sick then, He heals the sick today and He will heal the sick forever.

God is a healing God, HOWEVER the correct interpretation of the majority of times where the word healing is mentioned is – healing of sin! – and it must be emphasized that that is the most important, but nevertheless the scriptures also make clear that the Lord heals sickness, the broken-hearted and the oppressed.

We have seen people healed from terrible sicknesses and deceases, we have seen the deaf hear and the blind see and miracles of healing that amaze medical science. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE with God! What He has done for others He can do for you! But remember salvation is the greatest miracle and examine yourself daily.

Seek the Lord in prayer and fasting, many of times a physical pain is related to an emotional wound!
