When you first start reading the Bible, we suggest you start reading St. John. This teaches you about salvation. Always pray before reading and ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ to give you understanding of His word.
Bibles, Study Bibles, and Bible Commentaries
We are not KJV-only ministry, but we do strongly recommend the authorized KING JAMES Version of The Holy Bible (KJV). This is not the very first Holy Bible translated from the original Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic scriptures in the English language, but the 1st main-stream English translation and printed in English in 1611 by King James of England it is used in all English speaking churches across the world. We warn against many of the new (modern) versions of Bibles, as you will see explained further down on this page.
The one we recommend is indeed the one with the Thee and Thou, but don't be afraid of this traditional English; Thee = you singular & Ye = you plural (in modern English there is no such distinction) and Thou = you singular.
The power of this traditional original English demonstrates that Jesus spoke to Nicodemus when He said 'I tell you' and addressed everybody in 'ye must be born again'
This original english is far more easier to read and understand, it is also more powerful and more poetic and you might not think, but it is the easiest to memorise!
An old english saying is, if it is not broken don't fix it, the 1st printed English Bible KJV or AV is not broken, no need to to fix it with another version, God doesn't need to do something more then once.
Misleading New Age Bible Versions
Contrary to advertising claims, new versions of the Bible, including the New KJV (NKJV), are MORE difficult to read than the authorized KJV. This has been proven in extensive research using the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level Indicators.
Why does the NKJV use harder words than the KJV? The copyright law insists that: "To be copyrightable, a work must be different enough from the original to be regarded as a 'new work' or must contain a substantial amount of new material. Making minor changes or additions of little substance to a pre-existing work will not qualify the work as a new version for copyright purposes." Therefore all nw Bible versions must change thod simple one or two syllable Anglo-Saxon words to complex Latinized words. Consequently the KJV reads at the 5th grade level and the NKJV reads at the 6th grade level. Because of this copyright law, there will never be an easier to read Bible than the KJV.
The NIV and later versions go even further by deleting FASTING from Mark 9:29
According to the NIV you just need to pray, yet the original language clearly state that some kind will not leave but by prayer AND fasting. These commissions should say enough and if you cannot read Greek and Hebrew we strongly recommend the Authorised Version AV [the only authorised version] of the Bible otherwise known as the KJV King James Version 1611.
You can see some examples in the images below.
"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book". - Revelation 22:18-19
Furthermore, the NKJV often demotes Jesus Christ and the deity of Jesus Christ! The following images show verses where the NKJV follows the Jehovah Witness Version and dozens of verses where the NKJV supports New Age philosophy. You must understand also that Bibles are very big business and that's why publishers go all out on their marketing campaigns to 'deceive' you into buying a new version. "The love of money is the root..."
MUST READ BOOK
Those wanting to learn how new Bible versions are promoting the new age world must read: New Age Bible Versions: The New Case Against the NIV, NASB, NKJV, NRSV, NAB, REB, RSV, CEV, TEV, GNB, NEW LIVING, PHILLIPS, NEW JERUSALEM, & NEW CENTURY by Dr. Gail Riplinger.
This book is the result of an exhaustive six year collation of new Bible versions, their underlying Greek manuscripts, editions, and editors. It objectively and methodically documents the hidden alliance between new versions and the New Age Movement's One World Religion.
Her investigation of Bible texts and translations led her to unlock the more sinister aspects to the creation of a Common "bible" based on the Alexandrian perverted texts. Very detailed and complete, leaving no stone unturned!
Learn About the Message
The emerging 'new' Christianity -- with its substitution of riches for righteousness, a crown for a cross, and an imitation for a new creation -- is shown to be a direct result of the wording in new versions. Documented are the thousands of words, verses, and doctrines by which new versions will prepare the apostate churches of these last days to accept the religion of the Antichrist -- even his mark, image, and Lucifer worship. "THEY WORSHIPPED THE DRAGON" -- Revelation 13:4
Learn about the Men
Each page opens a door exposing new version editors -- in agreement with Luciferians, occultists, and New Age philosophy -- in mental institutions, seance parlors, prison cells, and court room for heresy trials -- and most shocking of all -- denying that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. Five have lost their ability to speak. "BEWARE OF THE SCRIBES" -- Luke 20:46
Learn about the Manuscripts
The Greek manuscripts, critical editions, lexicons and dictionaries behind the new versions are examined, revealing their occult origins, contents, and yet unreleased material -- a blueprint for the Antichrist's One World Religion and government.
What others have said about this book
"Unparalleled...may be the most important book ever written." -- Tex Marrs
"An outstanding work...The author has certainly done an amazing job of research." -- Dr. Henry Morris
"You have created a masterpiece!" -- Jack T. Chick
"I believe God sent it as a means of waking up Christians for the end times battle with the forces of darkness." -- Wiley Cameron
"By far and away the best and most complete analysis of the King James Version debate that has ever been published. If I could recommend only one book on the King James controversy, I would recommend nothing that I wrote. I would recommend New Age Bible Versions by Riplinger. It is final; it is definitive. I do not believe it will ever be improved upon." -- Dr. Peter S. Ruckman
